GLOPACK Best Practice Guidelines

The GLOPACK Consortium developed a Best Practice Guidelines for Biodegradable Food Packaging.

The Guidelines cover the following topics:

  • The consumers’ attitude towards sustainable packaging
  • Biorefinery platforms for PHBV Production
  • Processability of PHBV
  • Active and intelligent packaging
  • Potential applications of innovative food packaging
  • Decision support system to choose the right packaging
  • Legislation & certification systems of biodegradable packaging
